Entrepreneurship

Taqwa Hussein Hazam Al-Hababi, a highly successful businesswoman, has overcome all obstacles, including her age, to achieve remarkable and consecutive successes in multiple investment projects.
Her success story began with her determination to find a solution that would provide her with a sustainable and continuous source of income, eliminating the need to rely on others. After extensive research, she heard from those around her in the region about the financing opportunities offered by Namaa Small and Microfinance Foundation She quickly approached NAMAA and submitted a financing request, allowing her to purchase a wedding dress with an amount of $20,000. This marked the first step in her journey as she began renting out the dress to brides. She then applied for additional funding to purchase new dresses, taking gradual steps until Taqwa established her own shop named 'Yemeni Bride' for selling and renting bridal dresses.
Following this tremendous success, she contemplated opening other ventures and applied for further financing. In total, she received 15 different loans, enabling her to establish various diversified businesses. These include a bridal salon, incense and perfume manufacturing, a grocery store, a gas cylinder retailer, a poultry slaughterhouse, women's and girls' dress design and tailoring, traditional bread production and preparation, sheep farming, pastry and dessert making, and handicrafts. Additionally, she operates a rental bus, a taxi, a water delivery service, and recently acquired a commercial vehicle through a lease-to-own arrangement with Namaa Small and Microfinance Foundation.
Her ambitions continue to grow, and she is expanding her projects to become a role model for women in entrepreneurship.
