Namaa Small & Microfinance Founadtion and Namaa Microfinance Academy concluded the "7th" training program on "Credit Feasibility Study".

Tuesday, a training course on "Credit Feasibility Study" was concluded in Sana'a, organized by Namaa Microfinance Academy over a period of five days, with three hours per day.
The aim of the training program was to develop the skills of 25 male and female trainees from the students of the College of Agriculture at Sana'a University in studying the feasibility of commercial, service, and productive projects, as well as analyzing financial statements and financial ratios used in the evaluation process.
The participants were introduced to the concept and importance of credit feasibility study, the role of the finance officer, the stages of the finance cycle, the steps followed in granting financing, and familiarized with the basic financial statements and how to use them in the financing process to make sound credit decisions.
This training course is part of a series of diploma courses in micro and small finance organized by the Academy for university students and relevant personnel. Its aim is to improve performance and promote the culture of micro and small finance among Yemeni society, given the significant importance of this industry in combating poverty, reducing unemployment, and achieving sustainable development.
Moreover, this course is considered one of the important courses offered by the Academy to provide participants from both the microfinance sector and outside the microfinance sector with the necessary skills to deal with small projects and the ability to conduct the required financial analysis according to scientific and methodological standards that ensure the safety and success of the project and the achievement of its desired goals.
During the closing ceremony, Mr. Tawfiq Al-Hakimi, Deputy Executive Director of Namaa Small & Microfinance Founadtion, delivered a speech congratulating the participants and expressing gratitude to the staff of Namaa Microfinance Academy, particularly Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Faran, Chairman of Namaa Small & Microfinance Founadtion and President of Namaa Microfinance Academy, for organizing such courses to promote the culture of microfinance among all members of society.
The management of the foundation and the academy also presented a certificate of appreciation and thanks to the program trainer, Mr. Ziad Al-Sabri, for his outstanding performance in delivering the important training program.
On his part, Mr. Ziad Al-Sabri praised the performance of the trainees and their keenness to attend the course and interact with it, commending the role of the academy in providing them with training opportunities, which contributes to the dissemination of the culture of microfinance
