As part of Nama’a Development and Microfinance Foundation's commitment to expanding its partnerships with entities and organizations related to the developmental and humanitarian field, Mr. Mohammed Al-Faran, Head of Nama’a Foundation, received a delegation from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen on Saturday, April 23, 2024, at the foundation's premises. The delegation was led by Ms. Maria Rosarba B. Bruno, Deputy Director-General of OCHA, along with Mr. Ibrahim Al-Haddad, Director of Information Systems, Mr. Abdulrahim Aoubli, Financial Director at the Humanitarian Financing Fund, and Mr. Najib Al-Mansour, Coordinator of Relations and Humanitarian Affairs.

The purpose of the UN delegation's visit was to enhance cooperation between the two parties in the field of humanitarian work and development. Mr. Al-Faran, Head of Nama’a Foundation, and Mr. Tawfiq Al-Hakimi, Deputy Executive Director, warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and provided them with an overview of the foundation's activities, its developmental projects, and the positive impact they have on project beneficiaries. They also highlighted the foundation's efforts in training and qualifying members of society and refugees to reduce unemployment and enable them to achieve self-sufficiency through establishing their own projects.

The OCHA delegation expressed admiration for Nama’a Foundation and its projects, welcoming the agreement between the two parties to enhance cooperation in the field of humanitarian work. The visiting delegation, accompanied by the foundation's president, also took a tour of the foundation's premises to observe the ongoing work
