Nama'a Development and Microfinance Foundation welcomed a delegation from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) June 6th on Thursday.
During the visit, the SDC delegation met with the management of Nama'a, who provided an overview of the foundation's activities and projects. The discussion highlighted Nama's developmental initiatives and microfinance projects aimed at bolstering the national economy and alleviating unemployment and poverty.
In addition to the meeting, the delegation toured an exhibition organized by Nama’a foundation, showcasing images of small and developmental projects, as well as training, qualification, and economic empowerment programs.
Mr. Tawfiq Al-Hakimi, Deputy Executive Director of the foundation, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Swiss Agency's visit.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation delegation expressed their admiration for Nama’a Development and Microfinance Foundation's work and its contributions to sustainable development in Yemen.
"We are pleased to visit Nama'a and learn about its work firsthand. The foundation provides a pioneering model in empowering local communities through microfinance and capacity building," the delegation remarked.
