Nama’a Foundation Inaugurates New Branch Office in Al-Hodeidah

Nama’a Development and Microfinance Foundation inaugurated its new branch office in Al-Hodeidah City, in the presence of the Foundation’s Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Farran.

The opening of the new premises comes as part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance the work environment and expand the reach of its developmental and financial services, thereby facilitating beneficiaries’ access to funding opportunities and improving the quality of the institution’s programs.

During the inauguration event, Mr. Al-Farran held a meeting with the branch’s staff, where he emphasized that the new office represents an important milestone in Nama’a’s journey and a step toward strengthening its presence and expanding its base of beneficiaries.

He noted that the new branch will contribute to improving the working environment, expanding financing and development activities, and serving the community in ways that promote sustainable development.

Mr. Al-Farran reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to supporting and empowering small and microenterprises and other developmental activities that contribute to improving livelihoods and driving economic growth.

He also highlighted the Foundation’s recent strategic partnerships in the agricultural, fisheries, and solar energy sectors, aimed at promoting sustainability and supporting Yemen’s productive economy.

In conclusion, Mr. Al-Farran stressed the importance of investing in staff capacity building and skill development to align with the Foundation’s strategic vision and future aspirations.

For his part, Mr. Abu Al-Ghaith Al-Ahdal, Director of the Al-Hodeidah Region, stated that the inauguration of the new branch reflects Nama’a’s commitment to continuing its mission of community service through its branches and development initiatives. He added that this step will enhance performance and ensure more efficient service delivery.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Abdulwahab Oqbat, Legal Officer of the Foundation, Mr. Mohammed Salem Ayash, Branch Manager, and the branch staff.
