Nama’a Foundation and Academy Conclude ICDL Training Programs for 33 Participants

Nama’a Development and Microfinance Foundation, together with the Nama’a Academy for Development and Microfinance, concluded a series of ICDL (International Computer Driving License) training programs with the participation of 33 trainees from various institutions. The initiative aims to enhance digital competency and build technical capacities aligned with the requirements of the digital age and the labor market.

The training programs equipped participants with essential computer and software skills, starting with computer fundamentals and the Windows operating system, followed by Microsoft Office applications at different levels. Participants learned to use Word for professional report writing and document formatting, Excel for data organization, analysis, and visualization, PowerPoint for creating engaging presentations, and Access for building databases, forms, and reports. The program also included typing in both Arabic and English, email management, and effective Internet use, providing participants with internationally recognized digital skills.

At the closing ceremony, Mr. Tawfiq Al-Hakimi, Deputy Executive Director of Nama’a Foundation, praised the participants’ dedication and outstanding performance, emphasizing that such courses represent a true investment in youth empowerment, equipping them with vital digital skills to meet labor market demands.

Mr. Al-Hakimi also noted that the Nama’a Training Center offers a wide range of programs in small and microenterprise development, administrative training, digital marketing, as well as specialized technical programs such as ICDL, graphic design, professional Excel diploma, and artificial intelligence applications.

For his part, Mr. Mohammed Al-Sabri, the course trainer, expressed his pride in the participants’ enthusiasm and commitment, noting that their practical projects demonstrated strong understanding and benefit from the training content.

It is worth mentioning that these courses, like all training programs offered by Nama’a Foundation and Nama’a Academy, are provided free of charge, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to community service and its active role in promoting economic and social development by empowering individuals and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and professional excellence.

The programs concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where participants received certificates accredited by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in a positive and inspiring atmosphere that reflected their sense of accomplishment and ambition toward a promising professional future.
