Nama’a Foundation Concludes Project Management Training Program in Ibb

Nama’a Development and Microfinance Foundation concluded a specialized training program on Humanitarian and Development Project Preparation and Management, with the participation of 25 male and female employees from its branches in Ibb Governorate — including the Ibb Regional Office, Ibb City Branch, Al-Odain Branch, and Dhi Al-Sufal Branch. The program comes as part of Nama’a’s ongoing efforts to build staff capacity and enhance institutional efficiency.

The five-day training, held from September 27 to October 1, 2025, aimed to equip staff with practical knowledge and skills across all stages of project design and management — from project formulation, defining scope, and developing implementation plans, to risk management, monitoring and evaluation, and building role and responsibility matrices, supply chain management, and performance indicators. The sessions also included practical applications and interactive exercises that enriched participants’ experience and understanding.

At the closing session, Mr. Youssef Al-Hajj, Acting Director of the Ibb Regional Office, praised the participants’ discipline and engagement, expressing his appreciation to Mr. Amin Al-Taheri, the course trainer, for his efforts and professionalism.

Mr. Al-Hajj highlighted the importance of such training programs in updating employees’ knowledge and skills in line with the Foundation’s strategic priorities and reaffirmed the leadership’s — represented by Chairman Mohammed Al-Farran — dedication to continuous investment in training and capacity development.

Participants expressed their gratitude to the Foundation’s leadership for its consistent support in developing their capabilities, enriching their knowledge, and refining their skills.

This program is part of a broader training plan aimed at equipping all Nama’a employees with essential knowledge in humanitarian and development project management.

The program concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to promoting a culture of continuous learning and building professional cadres capable of achieving sustainable development impact.
