This initiative is part of a partnership between the Nama’a Development and Microfinance Foundation and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA). It aims to build capacities, promote economic empowerment, and support individuals’ active participation in the labor market.

The training program focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to prepare and evaluate feasibility studies for their projects scientifically. It enables them to make effective investment decisions and achieve successful project implementation.

In his remarks, Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Farran, Chairman of Nama’a Development and Microfinance Foundation and Nama’a Academy for Microfinance, praised the trainees’ engagement with the program. He emphasized that many of the business ideas suggested by the participants have strong potential to develop into successful projects with additional research and determination. He also emphasized that the academy offers free online training courses aimed at enhancing knowledge and promoting a culture of small and micro-enterprises.

Mr. Al-Farran encouraged the trainees to join the academy’s online platform courses, including computer leadership, development and management, and English language training offered by Nama’a Training Center.

The course trainer, Mr. Akram Al-Qubati, thanked the participants for their valuable contributions. He voiced confidence that they would apply what they learned, leading to tangible positive results in their small businesses.

The program concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony amidst an inviting atmosphere of pride and enthusiasm.
