Namaa Small & Microfinance Foundation inaugurates the new branch headquarters in Al-Zaidiya District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate.
On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Namaa Small & Microfinance Foundation inaugurated the new branch headquarters in Al-Zaidiya District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate. The opening ceremony was attended by the chairman and members of the board of directors, highlighting the foundation 's commitment to the Al-Zaidiya branch after five years of its successful operation and distinction.
During the inauguration, Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Faran, the chairman of the board of directors, expressed his immense joy at the opening of the new branch headquarters. He emphasized that the new building of the Al-Zaidiya branch represents a qualitative leap for microfinance in the northern region of Al-Hodeidah, benefiting small project owners in all districts of the area.
Al-Faran praised the outstanding efforts exerted by all the staff and employees of the branch in providing the best financial services to the community. He called for further efforts, excellence, and delivering the best services.
Al-Faran reviewed the branch's activities since its establishment, which is considered one of the most important branches of the foundation, providing various financial services to Al-Zaidiya District and neighboring districts. He pointed out that since its establishment, the branch has financed more than five thousand economic projects in various agricultural, commercial, handicraft, animal husbandry, and fishing activities.
The chairman of the board of directors clarified that the branch is currently implementing the plowing and planting project for the second season, covering an area of 1.5 million square meters for 200 farmers. This project contributes to supporting farmers, achieving agricultural development, self-sufficiency, and promoting economic development in the country.
Al-Faran also discussed several projects implemented by the branch in the economic, agricultural, and fishing sectors.
