Completion of the 2nd Entrepreneur Training Program – GYB & SYB
In collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Nama’a Development and Microfinance Foundation, alongside Nama’a Academy, concluded its 2nd entrepreneur training program, delivering the “Generate Your Business Idea (GYB)” and “Start Your Business (SYB)” modules—part of the ILO’s global Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) methodology. The training targeted 26 aspiring entrepreneurs.
This program is part of an ongoing partnership between Nama’a and the ILO, designed to equip young people with the practical knowledge and tools to launch their businesses successfully. The sessions covered business idea evaluation, marketing strategy development, and business planning to support access to financing.
A key focus was also placed on environmental sustainability, introducing participants to waste reduction and recycling practices to guide their ventures toward sustainable growth.
The program concluded with a ceremony attended by Mr. Mohammed Al-Farran, Chairman of Nama’a Foundation and Nama’a Academy, who emphasized the significance of this initiative in helping entrepreneurs lay strong foundations for their businesses. He also praised the efforts of the lead trainers—Mousa Al-Sanwi, Abdulhakim Hashem, and Hanaa Hazaa—for delivering engaging, impactful content.
The closing event was marked by positivity and ambition, as participants received certificates and shared their excitement for future success. Nama’a Academy continues to offer free training programs as part of its commitment to community development, empowering youth, and fostering an entrepreneurial culture that supports small business growth and local economic resilience.
