NAMA Foundation & Academy Wrap Up Procurement and Contract Management Training for 16 Employees

NAMA Development and Microfinance Foundation, in collaboration with NAMA Microfinance Academy, successfully concluded a comprehensive training course on procurement and contract management. The course spanned six days, with sessions conducted four hours daily, and was attended by 16 dedicated employees from the Foundation.
The training was designed to bolster the participants' expertise in procurement, emphasizing the importance of adhering to procurement procedures and introducing them to best practices in the field. The course also aimed to equip attendees with the skills necessary to achieve procurement objectives, prepare and submit bids effectively, and navigate various procurement and logistics systems.
Mr. Khalid Qahtan, the course trainer, highlighted the significance of the training, noting that it provided participants with essential knowledge on procurement and contract practices in line with Yemeni laws and regulations, as well as the foundation's internal procurement manual.
Mr. Tawfiq Al-Hakimi, Deputy Executive Director of NAMA Foundation, underscored the importance of such initiatives, stating that this course is part of the Foundation's ongoing efforts to enhance the professional competencies of its staff, ultimately contributing to the achievement of its development goals.
The course concluded with the distribution of participation certificates to all attendees, marking the successful completion of the program.
